Even though it was written 22years after the events of RADIO, the somber postwar vibe of #autumnleaves as it's known in English or #lesfeuillesmortes in it's original French was a huge tonal inspiration for the book.

A few years back, I was lucky enough to get to tour refurbished train cars that actually served on the #orientexpress. It was as cool as you'd expect.
